Draft

Terms of Service

Last updated October 16, 2026

This is a working draft, not final legal terms. Highlighted values are still to be decided.

These terms govern use of GetGud (the "Service"), provided by TODO: legal entity name. By creating an account or taking an interview through the Service, you agree to them.

1. Who uses the Service

Interviewers sign in with a supported identity provider, belong to a workspace, and create interviews. Candidates open an interview link, enter their name and answer questions. Candidates do not create an account.

2. Interviewer responsibilities

  • Use the Service only for genuine hiring or skills assessment.
  • Tell candidates how their answers and activity signals will be used in your decision.
  • Comply with employment, anti-discrimination and privacy laws that apply to your hiring.
  • Keep interview links private. Anyone with a link can open that interview until it starts or expires.
  • Do not copy, publish or resell the library outside the Service.

3. Candidate responsibilities

Candidates agree to answer in their own words and follow any rules the interviewer sets for the session. Activity signals such as focus changes or paste counts are shown to the interviewer as factual context. They are not, by themselves, a finding of misconduct.

4. Content and scoring

Questions, reference answers and scoring rules are provided by GetGud or by your workspace. Automatic scores are deterministic and based only on the selections submitted. Hiring decisions remain the interviewer's responsibility; scores are one input, not a recommendation.

5. Your data

Workspaces own the interviews they create and the notes they write. How we handle personal data, including candidate data, is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access interviews or data you are not authorized to see, interfere with the Service, or use it to collect information about candidates beyond the interview itself.

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided as is during this early period. We may change or discontinue features. If these terms change in a material way we will update the date above and notify account holders.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, GetGud is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including hiring outcomes. TODO: liability cap and warranty language to be confirmed by counsel

9. Governing law
